This site is meant to serve as a guide for college students who are looking to improve their health or maintain a healthy lifestyle while balancing the busy life of a student. This source is unlike any other because it is tailored specifically to college students, including not only age specific recommendations, but also recommendations that are more likely to reasonably fit into the budget of a college student.

 

It is often difficult for students to adjust to a more independent lifestyle as opposed to living at home. This becomes even more challenging when you are responsible for buying and preparing your own food for the first time, while trying to stay on top of school work, hold a job, and maintain a social life. With all of these commitments, the idea of finding time to exercise seems almost impossible.

 

The idea behind this guide is to simplify the nutrition an exercise needs for typical college students age 18 to 25 years to make planning meals, snacks, and exercise a little less stressful. This site is not meant as a tool for weight loss, but simply as a way to meet nutrient and exercise recommendations to maintain a healthy lifestyle. That being said, for those who do not already live a healthy lifestyle and are overweight, healthy weight loss may result from following these guidelines.
